Rescue Cat Services

Feral Cat Coalition does not accept Persian, Himalayan, Exotic, Burmese, British Shorthair, Scottish Fold or any “flat faced” cats. See notes in pricing for purebred cats.

Foster/Rescue cats should remain with the responsible party for the duration of their recovery period (7-14 days) before they are placed in an adopters homes.

Thank you for spaying and neutering this animal prior to finding it a home. We offer a limited number of appointments for rescued cats and hope to have you scheduled soon. Please be patient with us as we respond to inquiries in the order they are received. If we are able to offer you an appointment, we will send you an email asking you to confirm and make a deposit within 24 hours.

Appointments for Rescue/Adoptable Cats are available on Fridays only. A drop-off time will be offered to you between 7:30 am and 9:30 am. Pick-up will be given at the door between 2:00 pm and 3:45 pm same day. You will be given an exact pick-up time based on availability once you arrive at drop off.

Payment is required in person at time of pick up. We accept:

  • Cash (we do not carry change)

  • Card (not over the phone)

  • We do not accept checks for services but do for donations

Our veterinary staff are trained to provide top notch quality care cats going through surgery and recovery. And our loving volunteers spend extra time with cats while recovering on specialty designed heated recovery space.

    If kittens are 3lbs or below, you may place up to two kittens in each carrier. Any kitten/cat 4lbs or above will require their own carrier.


  • *Purebred/purposeful bred cats will require an additional spay/neuter fee of $225 to the $100/$90 spay/neuter fee for a total of $325/$315. If your rescue cat is observed to be purebred at drop off, you will be required to pay the additional fee or forfeit your deposit. 

    Spay Rescue – Female: $90 (Includes high quality pain injection, anti-inflammatory injection and subcutaneous fluid injections. Also includes nail trim for indoor cats.)

    Please note that if your cat is pregnant, in heat or very overweight, there may be a $5-$40 extra tissue charge after surgery, depending on the length of time. We never want to charge owners more than they can afford. This small fee is only to cover the fee charged to us by the doctor for their time.

    Neuter Rescue – Male: $80 (Includes high quality pain injection, anti-inflammatory injection and subcutaneous fluid injections. Also includes nail trim for indoor cats.)

    Please note that if your cat is cryptorchid (only one testicle has dropped), there will be a $20-$150 extra surgical site fee after surgery, depending on the length of time. We never want to charge owners more than they can afford. This small fee is only to cover the fee charged to us by the doctor for their time.

    E-Collar “Cone” $10- To prevent licking at surgery site (Strongly recommended)

    FVRCP vaccine: $5 (Strongly Recommended even for indoor cats)
    Rabies vaccine: $5 (must weigh over 3 pounds

    Tapeworm treatment: $15
    Flea treatment: $15

    FeLV/FIV testing: $30

    Microchip implant and life-long registration: $10 

    Fee to implant your provided microchip: $5

    Convenia antibiotic injection: $35
    Cerenia anti-nausea injection: $20

    Non-refundable deposits of $50 per cat and will be required to hold a reservation.
